Final Name Change

Hello, blog. I indicated in my most recent blog that I was completing the editing for our movie. I wanted our produced and directed title slides to appear in the movie, so I embedded them. I began by writing the directed by title on the exterior of my building in the first frame. The difficult thing was not learning how to embed text. Finding frames where to insert the text and have it appear to be a part of the video without the camera moving and the text moving with it was difficult. It was the only factor that determined where I placed the credits. The movie also has sound, which I added. You might remember that in a previous blog I asked Universal Music for permission to use the song "Love Fools"; following their initial email, UMC never responded. That was certainly unfortunate. It would have been fantastic to incorporate such a classic into our movie. Thankfully, we switched to the royalty-free music from our backup plan. To do this, I went to YouTube and typed in "royalty-free romance songs," and a number of songs appeared. I listened to music for almost 45 minutes before I discovered the tune that I thought went perfectly with our movie. Along with it, we modified the film's original title. We were going to call it Lost Love, but I chose a name that my group members thought was superior. Instead, Friends to Forever was used. Overall, I regret that I was unable to incorporate the text in a more visually appealing manner. The "produced by" sequence may be seen in the parking lot's white edging. As I mentioned, embedded text and moving cameras don't appear to work well together on editing software like Capcut, so I had initially planned to put it in the elevator. Overall, I am pleased with the finished product, and making the movie was a lot of fun. I'm happy I was able to record the trip once more.
