Genre decision

Thriller movies are a genre of film that aims to create a sense of tension, suspense, and excitement in the viewer. These movies often revolve around a central character who is in danger or facing a challenge that they must overcome. They often feature a fast-paced plot, unexpected twists, and cliffhangers that keep viewers on the edge of their seats. The cinematography and sound design in thriller movies are often used to create a sense of unease, with dark lighting and eerie music contributing to the suspenseful atmosphere. Thrillers are popular because they provide a thrilling experience and often leave the viewer with a sense of satisfaction when the conflict is resolved.   Romantic  films are a genre of movies that focus on love, relationships, and the emotional connections between people. They often portray an idealized version of love, where characters are swept off their feet, overcome obstacles, and find true happiness with their partner. Romantic films are popular because the

It’s so hard to choose… When having the 2 best pitches!

Hello, the following are pitches my friends and I have come up with for the upcoming short film we are making in which I will be the lead actor. Yes?No?-(Pitch A): As one of the lead actors of our upcoming short film, I am thrilled to share a pitch for the intense narrative that will unfold in our possible project, "In the Shadows." The story revolves around a 16-year-old high school girl, portrayed by ou friend Sarah, who embarks on a seemingly ordinary trip to a corner store for snacks. The atmosphere quickly takes a chilling turn as Sarah's character, played by me, becomes the unsuspecting target of a sinister kidnapper, Brayden, my real-life close friend. The juxtaposition of our genuine friendship against the backdrop of an intense, suspenseful plot adds a layer of authenticity to the narrative.  Yes?No?-(Pitch B): This dramatic tale follows the role of a female soccer phenom who makes it to her dreams of the big leagues. The actress portrayed will be me, Sarah. Th

Same group members, except for one…

It's tough working on filming all alone, which is why I am working in a group for this assignment. I am also working in a little bit of a different group than last year. Nevertheless, let’s get into who’s with me in this group. One of the members from my AS level group, Luke, decided he did not want to continue with A level media, so he moved on to other classes. However I have gained a new group member, Riley, whom I have never worked with before. This will help me come up with a new set of ideas since I will be getting through this project with someone new. Riley is very intelligent, and has a very high work ethic which will benefit the group in several ways. He also owns a camera which can help the group record a higher quality film in comparison to using a phone. In my group, we also have Elton who is a very bright worker. He has a lot of knowledge and knows how to maintain the role of taking charge in the group. I will mostly be following his lead from what I’ve seen with how

Welcome Back!!

It as been awhile, but here we go again. Hi, my name is Sarah Kraja and I'm ecstatic to soon begin this final task. I have some experience with technology since I am always using it, and I used to edit a lot of videos for fun when I was younger. I feel like that will be very helpful for me in this class because there is a lot of recording involved throughout the year. I always liked editing and filming videos when I was with friends so I have some of the basics down already. I am already in the process of brainstorming ideas for our groups task because of how thrilling making it seems. Now I'll get into some particulars about what I generally do throughout most days in and out of school. When I'm outside of school, I would usually have either volleyball practice, a game, or work. This is one of the sports that I have truly found myself to have a passion for after many years. I am on my schools Junior Varsity team and have made a lot of progress ever since I made the team. A
