Editing is now going smoother than before

 Every choice we make during the 5-minute film's editing process is informed by the ideas of mise en scène and C.L.A.M.P.S. media terminologies. By placing performers, setting the tone, and arranging accessories, mise en scène enables us to craft a scene so that each frame successfully delivers our tale. Camera angles, lighting, audio, mise en scène, performance, and special effects are just a few of the C.L.A.M.P.S. media terms that enhance our editing process and give our images more nuance and significance. Our film is evolving with every cut, every component well thought out to provide a seamless and captivating story. Our audience's emotions are elicited and the proper mood is established with the aid of lighting, costuming, and set design. Furthermore, movement and camera angles improve the narrative by placing viewers at the center of the action.Excitement is in the air as the editing process approaches its conclusion. Our efforts are clearly paying off since the movie comes together beautifully. To bring our creation to its ultimate level, a few final touches remain, such the addition of titles and sound effects. Even with these unfinished duties, we take great pride in the fact that our project is a true work in progress that gets better with every edit. We're eager to see the finished product, which motivates us to give it our all in the editing room. We are excited for the day when we can release our movie to the public. ..We are excited for the day to finally be able to release our movie to the public, knowing it will amuse, uplift, and encourage discussion. Even as we get closer to the final line, we understand that the filmmaking process never really ends.Ultimately, the act of editing our film is just as fulfilling as the final output. We are grateful for our creativity, cooperation, and dedication in getting here, and we look forward to the adventures that lie ahead. Since we think that the process is just as important as the final destination, we feel that every edit brings us one step closer to realizing our goal.

Final Name Change

Hello, blog. I indicated in my most recent blog that I was completing the editing for our movie. I wanted our produced and directed title slides to appear in the movie, so I embedded them. I began by writing the directed by title on the exterior of my building in the first frame. The difficult thing was not learning how to embed text. Finding frames where to insert the text and have it appear to be a part of the video without the camera moving and the text moving with it was difficult. It was the only factor that determined where I placed the credits. The movie also has sound, which I added. You might remember that in a previous blog I asked Universal Music for permission to use the song "Love Fools"; following their initial email, UMC never responded. That was certainly unfortunate. Tweaks and Changes

There are a lot of things that still need to be fixed with the clips. As a group we officially started editing and we are using iMovie. The film was taken on my phone since we agreed I had the most storage and was able to have all of that on my phone. We put the clips all together on iMovie and it came out to be 2 minutes and 41 seconds. There are still some parts we must cut out or shorten that should not be there, but I'm glad we got the time right. A big part also needed to be done are the titles. We will work together to make them look as neat and flowy as possible in the film. Hopefully it turns out as amazing as I think it will. I think the hardest part for my group was getting everyone together, but I'm glad we managed to do it. Without all the proper editing, I believe the film looks great! Filming officially complete!

On Sunday evening, we all got together and finally put our commercial together. Michaela came to help with the filming while Sabrina, Lola, and I were the ones being recorded. I ended up bringing a couple chairs and a white table cloth to set up the scenery. Lola had other necessary props such as the table, and she went to the store to buy the actual Twizzlers as well. Sabrina also brought a hot glue gun for the use of gluing Twizzlers together to make it one long one for the last scene. Unfortunately, we ended up having to use our backup plan, but it still worked in our favor. Lola's sister and her friend were unable to show up for the filming process. They had practice for their sport and couldn't make it to be a part of the commercial.
