Scheduling Issues


 Changes came through very quickly all over again. This time just with the filming date instead of an actor/actress. Because of all this hassle to film during school days, I believe we are just going to officially film over Spring Break on the 22nd. It is hard to get a good date now because of final grades all getting put in for the closing of the 3rd quarter of our school year. Personally, it is a lot on my own plate to handle with all the stress I already have. I keep on getting new, consistent assignments which are needed to be done and soon before everything is closed. It was not an easy decision made yet again to push back the filming date. It was rather hard, because of all the excitement I have going through me to do it and see how it turns out. However, things must be done the proper way and not in a rush, so if we kept this same date, everything in the film would have looked bad. It would have been noticeably rushed because of how sloppy everything would be. On another note, my group and I are still working on choosing the music. This is a big one, because music really defines a piece. In this case, something perfect for the background needs to be picked out to represent the scenery in a nice manner. We also still need to contact the music producers to get an okay from them. This is in order to be able to use the song without being copyrighted, because that wouldn’t be good for us in the filming industry. There is still a lot of work to do for us, especially because we haven’t even gotten to filming yet. Right now, Im still on the easy part of just blogging my way through this, but then comes the editing plus blogging throughout the whole process giving specific details. This is a lot since testing season is just around the corner. I’m gonna be in a very bad time crunch and it’ll be hard to manage my time well. I am prepared for the worst, but hoping for the best. I aspire for everything to go well on the 22nd so my group and I can move on from filming and swiftly get to the editing part. It will be more time consuming, but more simple than having to get a whole group together every-time.

Hi, my name is Sarah Kraja and I'm ecstatic to soon begin this music video. I have some experience with technology since I am always using it, and I used to edit a lot of videos for fun when I was younger. I feel like that will be very helpful for me in this class because there is a lot of recording involved throughout the rest of the year.
