Scheduling Issues

  Changes came through very quickly all over again. This time just with the filming date instead of an actor/actress. Because of all this hassle to film during school days, I believe we are just going to officially film over Spring Break on the 22nd. It is hard to get a good date now because of final grades all getting put in for the closing of the 3rd quarter of our school year. Personally, it is a lot on my own plate to handle with all the stress I already have. I keep on getting new, consistent assignments which are needed to be done and soon before everything is closed. It was not an easy decision made yet again to push back the filming date. It was rather hard, because of all the excitement I have going through me to do it and see how it turns out. However, things must be done the proper way and not in a rush, so if we kept this same date, everything in the film would have looked bad. The Real Investigation!

My group is using the song “Last Christmas” by Wham! for this project. This song is under the holiday genre, specially Christmas songs. According to my research, using our song,  "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey and "Baby It's Cold Outside” by John Legend, sung by Idina Menze the music video may include:  -Snow -Bright Lighting or Christmas colored lights  -Festive Christmas like Santa hats, rain deer antlers, etc.  Camera Angles and Movements:  • Zoom (To emphasis a person place or thing) -Pan (To show the festive scenery) Camera shots like:  -Wide shot (to show environment) -Long shot (to show the characters dancing or running around) -Close-ups (to show facial expressions, festive makeup or reactions) -Tracking shot (to emphasis what a person may be doing)  -Many two-shots and three-shots  -Fade out shots (to make clean/ pretty transitions to the next shot) Since I am filming a Christmas music video the Christmas song will be p...

Tweaks and Changes

There are a lot of things that still need to be fixed with the clips. As a group we officially started editing and we are using iMovie. The film was taken on my phone since we agreed I had the most storage and was able to have all of that on my phone. We put the clips all together on iMovie and it came out to be 2 minutes and 41 seconds. There are still some parts we must cut out or shorten that should not be there, but I'm glad we got the time right. A big part also needed to be done are the titles. We will work together to make them look as neat and flowy as possible in the film. Hopefully it turns out as amazing as I think it will. I think the hardest part for my group was getting everyone together, but I'm glad we managed to do it. Without all the proper editing, I believe the film looks great!
