Almost Done!

Hello there, and welcome back again for what is almost the last time of this school year. My group and I are constructively working through the days with editing on the film without stopping. It has been a rough couple of weeks because the end of the school year is approaching and a lot of work is getting thrown onto all of us just 2 weeks before our tests. Something tells me next week will be even more of a crunch. I don't see the workload coming to a stop until after we complete our AICE exams and I will say, this quarter of the school year has really been doing it for me. Anywho, our editing is working its way up there, for example we added a color gradient to give the film a romantic vibe. Only taking steps closer to the end of this stressful task it has turned into. It has been so hard for me personally to balance everything out. I'm not sure how my group mates feel, but I really have been struggling and I also just started my first day of work today. I didn't get home until 10 pm which makes me feel even more jet-lagged since I just got back from a New York trip yesterday evening. I know what you're thinking, not a good time for a trip and especially not for a job. You know what, that's just how things went due to my poorness of not thinking through what I was doing to myself. Okay I am getting very off topic now. Back to the editing of the film, we are still working to embed our title sequences into the final product. To be fair, we have all collectively been pushing it back because it is one of the harder parts of the overall editing. When we get to class tomorrow, we will also ask for assistance from our teacher and get help to do it as best as we can. If we don't have an opportunity to ask, then we will make the best of it on our own. The best of our knowledge, plus searching on google for a bit, will give us our best work. Generally, I feel extremely drained but I am pushing myself to keep going since we have come so far. I will not let my group down now at the finish line. It has been an enjoyable time having worked with these boys instead of the group I was in beforehand, to say the least!

Scheduling Issues

  Changes came through very quickly all over again. This time just with the filming date instead of an actor/actress. Because of all this hassle to film during school days, I believe we are just going to officially film over Spring Break on the 22nd. It is hard to get a good date now because of final grades all getting put in for the closing of the 3rd quarter of our school year. Personally, it is a lot on my own plate to handle with all the stress I already have. I keep on getting new, consistent assignments which are needed to be done and soon before everything is closed. It was not an easy decision made yet again to push back the filming date. It was rather hard, because of all the excitement I have going through me to do it and see how it turns out. However, things must be done the proper way and not in a rush, so if we kept this same date, everything in the film would have looked bad. Tweaks and Changes

There are a lot of things that still need to be fixed with the clips. As a group we officially started editing and we are using iMovie. The film was taken on my phone since we agreed I had the most storage and was able to have all of that on my phone. We put the clips all together on iMovie and it came out to be 2 minutes and 41 seconds. There are still some parts we must cut out or shorten that should not be there, but I'm glad we got the time right. A big part also needed to be done are the titles. We will work together to make them look as neat and flowy as possible in the film. Hopefully it turns out as amazing as I think it will. I think the hardest part for my group was getting everyone together, but I'm glad we managed to do it. Without all the proper editing, I believe the film looks great! Get to know us!

 Let's get back into my blog and get more in depth about my group. I am working with a different group of people than I usually would, but I think it'll be good for me. We can all incorporate each of our own strengths to make this music video the best one yet! We are a group of four and this includes me, Sabrina, Lola, and Michaela. To get into more detail, I've known the first member of our group, Sabrina since the 7th grade. We have gotten really close ever since then and have always stayed in contact. Her personality is great and she is a person you can enjoy working with to make the project fun. Sabrina works very diligently with schoolwork and anything she puts her mind to. She is very determined with everything she does and puts in extra efforts for great outcomes on her assignments. I have always seen how well she works, and have admired her for that.
