Title Research: Art of the Title and Watch the Titles Website
Hey blog, so we’ve been doing some research. Specifically, about this website we found, that seems it could be a major help. It’s called artofthetitle.com. And it’s honestly pretty cool. The site is full of information about different opening sequences of movies and films. There's a bunch of articles with information about genres and how each title sequence is tied to a certain genre. It also has information on what and how elements of the title sequence can foreshadow the kind of film you’ll be watching. I saw a plethora of movie sequences and different forms of art used to create them. My group and I have started to understand more about how sequences work, and how to create a viable one. I studied this website because I found positive information about it on the internet, and it did not fail to satisfy my informational requirements.
Hey blog, today I researched another website I found appealing. It’s called watchthetitles.com. This site has a large selection of films and their details along with the opening sequence. All the posts, or at least most of them, include information about the creation and creators of the film as well as people who were involved in the production. This site provides good background about how most title sequences become dull and general. Which now is something that my group will be able to avoid. The site provides a large selection of designers and studios to search for and from. They also have a feature that we will most like
ly use, it is a student project submission. The site showcases the works they believe are worthy of it. My group and I will most certainly be utilizing the information this site has to offer, it is valuable to the development of our title sequence producing skills.
