New Group Members

It's tough working on filming all alone, which is why I am working in a group for this assignment. I am also working in a different group than usual. I had worked with the same one throughout the school year, but I am feeling like it's time for a change. This will help me get a sense of others' work ethics and give me brighter ideas. Nevertheless, let’s get into who’s with me in this group. To begin, we have Elton who is a very bright worker. He has a lot of knowledge and knows how to maintain the role of taking charge in the group. I will mostly be following his lead from what I’ve seen with how he’s worked with his group in the past. He puts a lot of effort into what he does, and it always pays off for him. I am very excited to be working with him. Next up, I will be working with Brayden. Brayden has played the lead role throughout the entire year with the other projects. He has a lot of potential for it, and always shows success with what he does. He is very open to new ideas and simply goes with the flow. Overall, he’s a perfect fit in the group since he does not mind different challenges to take on. Last but not least, I am working with Luke. I have been told that Luke will be the fashion director. I agree with this role for him because Luke does have a good sense of fashion, which would be advantageous for the group. It is important to have good ideas for costumes since they are a very large part in a film. They really portray a lot of what the film may be about, or the time period something is being acted out as. Overall, I am thrilled to get started with this final task and very curious to see how it’ll turn out!

Scheduling Issues

  Changes came through very quickly all over again. This time just with the filming date instead of an actor/actress. Because of all this hassle to film during school days, I believe we are just going to officially film over Spring Break on the 22nd. It is hard to get a good date now because of final grades all getting put in for the closing of the 3rd quarter of our school year. Personally, it is a lot on my own plate to handle with all the stress I already have. I keep on getting new, consistent assignments which are needed to be done and soon before everything is closed. It was not an easy decision made yet again to push back the filming date. It was rather hard, because of all the excitement I have going through me to do it and see how it turns out. However, things must be done the proper way and not in a rush, so if we kept this same date, everything in the film would have looked bad. Tweaks and Changes

There are a lot of things that still need to be fixed with the clips. As a group we officially started editing and we are using iMovie. The film was taken on my phone since we agreed I had the most storage and was able to have all of that on my phone. We put the clips all together on iMovie and it came out to be 2 minutes and 41 seconds. There are still some parts we must cut out or shorten that should not be there, but I'm glad we got the time right. A big part also needed to be done are the titles. We will work together to make them look as neat and flowy as possible in the film. Hopefully it turns out as amazing as I think it will. I think the hardest part for my group was getting everyone together, but I'm glad we managed to do it. Without all the proper editing, I believe the film looks great! Get to know us!

 Let's get back into my blog and get more in depth about my group. I am working with a different group of people than I usually would, but I think it'll be good for me. We can all incorporate each of our own strengths to make this music video the best one yet! We are a group of four and this includes me, Sabrina, Lola, and Michaela. To get into more detail, I've known the first member of our group, Sabrina since the 7th grade. We have gotten really close ever since then and have always stayed in contact. Her personality is great and she is a person you can enjoy working with to make the project fun. Sabrina works very diligently with schoolwork and anything she puts her mind to.
