The real image!

First scene- During this scene we will be filming a establishing shot  of the car. The location for this scene will be in front of one of the group members homes that is decorated and festive. We wanted to included  a Christmas tree on top of the car to show it is Christmas time. We also wanted to include this scene to show where the first few scenes will be taking place. 


Second Scene- For this scene we will be using a wide shot of the car showing the 4 girls are now in it. We will still be in front of the house but we are getting ready to drive away. We wanted to include this scene to show all the girls in the car from an outside perspective before we showed in the car. 


Third Scene- In the third scene we will use a jump cut to now show the inside of the car with the girls. This quickly transitions into a medium close-up of the girl holding her heart and lip syncing to the music playing in the car. We wanted to show the girls emotions before she gives away her heart. 


Fourth scene- In the forth scene we will use a cutaway scene and long shot to show the girl giving her heart to the boy. This scene will be in all black and white showing that a flashback is taking place. 


Fifth scene- In this scene we will use a tracking shot of the boy to show him giving the heart to another girl behind him. This will also be in black and white as it is also part of the flashback. We wanted to include this scene to enhance the action and set up the story. 


Sixth Scene- In this sixth scene we will use a close up to show the girl locking her heart away in a box to keep it safe. This will be the final scene in black and white as it is the last part of the flashback. 


Seventh Scene- The girls are now walking around a festive Christmas town. (Christmas on Las Olas) This will be shot using a Dutch angle and it’s a hectic time an so many people will be around. This will be the scene that is in color again showing the present scenario. 


Eighth Scene- In this scene as the the girls are walking around the find Santa and go over to see him. We will be using a medium long shot to film this scene. We included this scene to show again that it is Christmas time of year and they are indulging in all of the Christmas activities. 


Ninth Scene- In the ninth scene we will use a low angle to show all the girls laughing and talking having a great time. This is to show the girl is over her heart break and happy again.


Tenth Scene- In this scene we will use an over the shoulder shot to show the guy that caught the girls eye. We do this to show she’s interested in him and instantly falling for him. 


Eleventh Scene- In the eleventh scene the girl approaches the guy and opens up her box to offer her heart to the guy. This will be shot in using a pan to sweep the whole scene and even capture the other girls reactions behind them. 


Twelfth Scene- This will be the final scene of the music video. In this scene the boy accepts her heart. We will be using a close up to shoot this scene. We include this to show that she finally was able to give her heart to someone special concluding the story.

Officially done…With filming

  I'm happy to inform that my group and I have finally finished filming our final video project, and the results are nothing short of stunning after weeks of hard work and commitment. This trip, while had its share of difficulties and learning curves, ended with a victory that well above our expectations.This time around, unlike the first time we filmed, everything appeared to go together perfectly. Equipped with a well-defined vision and an astute sense of direction, we skillfully and confidently maneuvered through the filming process. Simplifying our method of filming was one of the biggest changes we made. We had a well thought-out plan in place, so we knew exactly what kind of material and photos we would need to make our story come to life. With so much less time spent filming because to this newfound clarity, we were able to concentrate on capturing true and emotionally charged moments.
