Our Master Plan

Song Title:

The song we are using for this music video is “Last Christmas” by Wham! We wanted to do this song because it is one of the biggest classics of the holiday season. It is a staple for Christmas time. Our group each has a connection to this song since we all love this song.

Props:

For this music video we need some props. Some of these props may include skates, a winter coat, a Santa costume, Christmas makeup and other festive accessories we may find as we go.

Costumes:

In this music video, the costume will consist of winter clothes to match the vibe of the song. Possibly a Santa costume. The song takes place clearly during the winter season, meaning it would be cold. So, even though we’re in Florida, we will adjust to create the story of the song for our video.

Film Schedule:

On 11/7/22: Our group researched details about the song we wanted to make a music video on in order to create our own.

On 11/11/22: Our group made some final decisions for roles, props, filming locations, and created a schedule with all of this information.

On 11/13/22: Our group started thinking about the storyboard and brainstorming different ideas, so we can be prepared in class.

On 12/10/22: Our group will begin meeting in our film locations to record and shots and start putting our clips together to make our final music video.

On 12/12/22: Our group will get started with the editing of our video to make our final breakthrough of the music video.

Film Location:

We have some different options for where we want to film. We could film at our local and annual Christmas parade Christmas on Las Olas, or we could film at an ice skating rink to get that cold winter feel. This all depends on the weather of the day and everyone’s schedules lining up with the dates and times. We also might decide to film at both locations and put scenes together.

Health and safety protocols:

To make sure that our group stays healthy and safe, we will make sure to take safety precautions in all of the filming locations we go to. This means for example, avoiding edges of tall buildings or making unnecessary encounters with strangers.

Backup Plan:

If neither of our main filming locations work out we could always film at someone’s house and still keep the same costume and prop concept. We could film at either Sarah or Sabrina's house since they live in apartments and have Christmas decor around the area. This would not be ideal but it is backup plan.
