Game Plan!
Props:
The main props for our Twizzlers commercial are foot long Twizzlers. The other props we will be using are a Table, a white cloth, candles, chairs, flowers, a plate, Twizzlers peel.
Costumes:
For the commercial idea our group has, the subjects will all be played by out of group members. One of our actors will be dressed as a waiter, wearing an all-black outfit. The other two subjects will be dressed in formal attire for a fancy, romantic dinner. This can include a dress for the girl and a nice dress shirt and pants for the man. If we cannot acquire to getting our subjects to dress formally, we will adapt to their casual attire for our commercial and continue everything else as planned.
Schedule:
On 9/27/22: Our group researched similar candy commercials and created our own spin to these idea.
On 9/30/22: Our group decided on roles, props, locations, and a schedule for our commercials and then we started typing out our ideas for the planning blog.
On 10/2/22: Our group brainstormed ideas for our storyboard and we drew it out in class together.
On 10/9/22: Our group will meet up at our established setting to begin and record our shots to put the commercial together.
On 10/11/22: Our group will start editing in class to make our final breakthrough of the commercial.
Location List:
For our main plan, our group chose to film at the beach at sunset. We wanted to choose a place with a romantic but classic atmosphere, which is why we chose the beach. A dinner for our actors will be set up in the sand and Twizzlers will be the main item on their table.
Backup Plan:
If we can't film at the beach for bad weather or any other reason, our backup plan is to film at a group-mate's house. We would keep the same plan and theme but change the location. We would film in a dimly lit room and set up the table the same as we would in our main plan. Another backup plan we may need to think about is if we are unable to have 2 people from outside of our group do the romantic ending scene. Instead, we will get one of our group mates with someone out of the group to perform the scene.
